Evidence: Dragon Leaf Cell Fluid

It was announced that dragon leaf cell extract has immunomodulatory effects and beneficial effects on hair follicle cells.
Professor Koji Wakame of the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Hokkaido University of Science, and Shinpei Tanto of Japan Organic Yield Co., Ltd. (JOY), a company that develops and sells plant-derived exosome raw materials and products, announced at the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan meeting held in Fukuoka on March 28, 2025, that Dragon Leaf Cell Extract (LDEx), sold by JOY, is non-cytotoxic and has immunomodulatory effects and effects on hair follicle cells such as hair growth, skin barrier function, anti-wrinkle, and moisturizing properties.

Evidence: Test/monitor results
The results of a patch test on 20 people and an allergy test on 55 people were negative, so you can use it with confidence. Component analysis shows that water accounts for almost 100% of the product, so its properties are extremely similar to water, and it can be used as a substitute for the water contained in existing cosmetics.
As a result of the verification test for anti-aging anti-aging effect (elastase inhibition effect), we measured an elastase inhibition rate of 9.4% at 50% concentration and 11.8% at 100% concentration. In addition, when we measured the effects of hyaluronic acid and collagen production using dermal fibroblasts, we found a significant increase in hyaluronic acid and collagen production per cell.
